Aloha, We have a plant, possibly a type of Commelinaceae that has a cream to white tiny flower which clusters in a "fiddle-head" shape, opens in moring just a bit, forms a seed capsule later. Unusual foliage to see, resembling a bearded iris (we are tropical here). Spreads by a rather thick root creaping along the ground or just below the surface and then sending up its large, rather fan shaped "iris-like" foliage. Nobody seems to know what it is. May you live long and prosper, Larry
